Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Schedule 1 Compliance

Schedule 1, the second phase of the Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021 will come into effect on 30^th December 2022.

Simpson & Partners welcome these new regulations. Security has always been something we have taken very seriously. Our software and electronics are built by our in-house development team using security best practices, learnt building internet banking and medical systems.

The majority of the security features mandated in Schedule 1 have been fully operational in Simpson & Partners Home Series charger products since July 2022. The last remaining requirement (to achieve Schedule 1 compliance) was implemented in our charger products manufactured from the Dec 12^th 2022.

We are also pleased to confirm that all Home Series products manufactured before 12^th Dec 22 can be easily updated to be fully compliant with the new regulations.
