Yes, EV drivers actively search for properties with on-site charging, making it a key factor in their booking decisions. For them, charging is a necessity, not a luxury. Holiday homes and hotels are often located far from public charging facilities, so offering this convenience can significantly increase your property’s appeal and competitiveness.
We have built up a list of over 800 approved local installers who are well versed in installing S&P products. Unlike meter installers, they are factory trained and give straightforward quotes and carry out all relevant paperwork and signing off.

The installation costs vary based on factors such as the charger model, electrical infrastructure upgrades needed, labour, and grid upgrade fees. Getting a survey will accurately estimate the overall cost. If you are considering applying for any grants, ensure that your chosen installer is OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) approved.
Standard installations can cost around £425 (including VAT), with upfront costs typically being offset within 12 months through guest usage. Standard installation is usually a 7kW (single phase) installation, up to 4 hours on site, up to 15 meter cable run (the distance between your fuse board and where you want the charger). Costs increase materials and labour (eg if you need to drill though more than 2 walls/ dig a trench/ working at height).
We aim to ship all orders within 2 working days of full payment. Large orders of over 20 and bespoke colours can take longer.

These grants are available to businesses, charities, public sector organisations and small accommodation businesses. The WCS provides grants to eligible companies of up to 75% of the full EV charge point purchase and installation (inclusive of VAT). It is a voucher-based scheme, limited to £350 per changer socket and a maximum of 40 sockets across multiple workplace locations.
