Simpson & Partners has raised concerns over the striking similarities between its charger designs and Andersen EV’s newly launched Quartz model.

Customers, designers, and industry professionals have noted the resemblance, leading to confusion over a potential licensing agreement—something Simpson & Partners confirms does not exist.

Since 2020, the company has established a reputation for architecturally refined EV chargers that are full of future technology. Now, it is reviewing its position on intellectual property protections under UK law.

“As we explore our options, our focus remains on innovation, sustainability, and customer trust,” said COO David Simpson.
