Collaboration with Octopus’ Kraken for a seamless energy standard

By working closely with Kraken, Simpson & Partners will integrate advanced smart charging into their products. This ensures they stay at the forefront of clean tech innovation while offering simple, effective energy management. The goal is to give customers full control over the energy used in their homes and businesses. Whether it’s heat pumps, solar panels, ground-source systems, or EV chargers, all devices will work together under a trusted standard.

This effort aligns with Project Mercury’s broader goals of interoperability, highlighting the importance of industry partnerships to achieve smooth technology integration.

In the New Year, S&P will invite customers to beta test these updates. Once testing is complete, all existing and previous S&P chargers will support the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff. This partnership shows how collective expertise can solve compatibility challenges and deliver user-friendly clean tech solutions.
