Our 7kW & 22kW Smart Home EV chargers match design appeal with exceptional build quality and performance. Made using only quality materials and with the help of some of the best software and mechanical engineers in the UK.
Starting from £649. Refreshingly affordable.
The Home 7 and Home 7 Plus are both single phase chargers and will deliver 7kW/32-amps to your car. Home 22 is a 3-phase charger and can deliver three times the power. The Home 22 will require a 3-phase supply to deliver 22kW to your car.
The electricity supply that comes into your home from your energy supplier is referred to being either single phase supply or three phase supply.
96% of UK domestic houses have single phase as standard. This means that a 7kW (kilowatt) charger will send up to 7.3kW per hour to your ev.
A 22kW charger fitted to single phase will charge to a maximum of 7.3kW. 22kW chargers are supported by three phase supply so the maximum you can send to your car will be 22kW per hour.
The best way to tell if your property has a three-phase supply is by looking at the electrical fuse (sometimes called electricity supply, service head, cut out). Typically a single phase will have one fuse (maybe a 40, 60 or 100amp) and a three phase will have three 100amp fuses. A qualified electrician will be able to assess if you have single or three phase electricity.

Functionality wise, the plus models work with a wired or wireless energy manager. The basic only works with the wired energy manager.
On the plus models, you get courtesy lights around the socket.
Aesthetics wise, on the basic you get a plastic lid, limited colours for the front, on the plus model you get a choice of wood or metal lid, and a lot more colour choices.
Price wise, the 7kW basic model starts at £649 and the 7kW plus model starts at £775.
For a home ev charger installation, standard costs are around the £400 mark. This is a very rough estimate and gets us into a lot of trouble because every installation is different. That’s why we say don’t hold it against us if yours is different. But we feel that it’s good to know this as you go about organising your install.
We always recommend your charger is installed by qualified electrician. They will carry out a survey (online with a few photos of your property or sometimes in person if they live near you and it works out).
Standards costs increase with the complexity of your installation. Discuss where you want to put your charger with your electrician and ask for estimates before any work is carried out.
The things that could affect your install cost include the length of cable run (the longer, the more expensive). A new distribution board, whether your electrician needs to work at height or other things like needing to drill through more than 2 walls.

The energy manager is essentially a fuse safety device that helps you avoid nuisance tripping. It protects your fuse from reaching its limit by constantly measuring the amount of energy that your home and ev is using. As you near the fuse limit (for example when you’ve got your car plugged in, your electric hob is on and other appliances on), it prioritises energy to your home and automatically sends a signal to the charger to reduce the amount of charge going to your ev. When the load in your home reduces (oven turns off, hot tub turns off) and more energy becomes available, the energy manager then increases the charge to your ev.
Yes, the app has a digital padlock feature to lock the charger remotely.

Why are we showing you this? Why should you care? An EV charger is known as a fixed appliance. It pulls a load of energy. So safety is paramount. Our tech isn’t shelf bought and then cobbled together in a dusty warehouse. We design every track, connector, PCB and specify the intimate details of our electronic boards. So I suppose it’s our way of showing you that we know our electronics. And pay a lot of attention to the details.
